Social Grace provides coaching, therapy, and support for tweens, teens, young adults, adults, parents, and families. We specialize in helping individuals with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, twice-exceptionality (2e), social and emotional delays, trauma, and major life transitions. Our team is also experienced in guiding individuals through significant life adjustments and offering transition services tailored to their unique needs.
In addition to individual and family-focused services, Social Grace partners with business leaders and management teams to develop strategies for hiring, supporting, and retaining neurodiverse employees, fostering inclusive and thriving workplace environments. Whether working with families navigating challenges or organizations embracing neurodiversity, Social Grace is dedicated to empowering growth, connection, and success.
While we are not an in-network provider, we will provide monthly coded invoices for therapy services rendered for clients to submit for reimbursement, upon request only.

GET OUT OF THE HOUSE is exactly what it sounds like—in the best way. It’s an adventure-based social group for middle and high school tweens and teens, built around real-world experiences that actually matter.
Offered Monday through Friday during spring and summer break (10:00 AM–3:00 PM), plus one school closure day each month during the school year, this group gets participants out into DC and surrounding areas—practicing life as they live it.
Along the way, they’re building the skills that truly move the needle: social competence, executive functioning, independence, and confidence. Not through worksheets or lectures, but through real experiences, real interactions, and real growth.
GET OUT OF THE HOUSE groups run from 10:00 am–3:00 pm.
We meet Monday–Friday in the summer and during Spring Break, plus one select school day off each month.
Groups are led by trained Social Grace providers and supported by peer mentors who have completed our Social Grace Peer Mentor Training program.

EVERYTHING.
We’ve structured this so you don’t have to think about extras or manage a bunch of moving pieces.
Transportation during group hours is included. Lunch is included—your teen will eat at places they actually like, like Rice Bar, The Best Sandwich Place, and Mexicali Blues—along with snacks and a treat at the end of the day.
All activities are covered. That includes outings like Immersive Gamebox, ARTECHOUSE, and the National Air and Space Museum, as well as in-group activities like team challenges, problem-solving, and creative projects.
We also provide all materials, and each participant gets a swag bag with practical essentials—water, a journal, deodorant, sunglasses, and a few other things they’ll use throughout the program.
It’s meant to be simple on your end and a full, well-supported experience for them.
Every day is thoughtfully designed to support tweens and teens in building real-world social confidence—without it ever feeling forced or clinical.
We start with connection. Think low-pressure, fun activities like “Speed Friending” that help participants warm up, find their people, and practice those first steps of social engagement.
From there, we layer in social and executive function challenges—group problem-solving, decoding tasks, and collaborative activities that naturally build skills like flexible thinking, communication, and teamwork.
Then we take it out into the real world. Through community-based experiences and transportation training, participants practice navigating everyday situations with support and intention.
Lunch is always a highlight—group members head to local favorites like Rice Bar, District Taco, and The Best Sandwich Place—building independence, ordering skills, and social confidence along the way.
Afternoons are for big, memorable experiences. We rotate through favorites like Immersive Gamebox, ARTECHOUSE, and the National Air and Space Museum, with new adventures added each summer to keep things fresh and exciting.
We close out the day with reflection and connection—giving participants a chance to process, celebrate wins, and build insight—often ending on a fun note with a well-earned sweet treat before pick-up.
Social Grace’s camps and group meet-ups are phenomenal. My daughter has been participating for several years and we always notice a difference in her ability to use skills to manage anxiety and build healthy relationships when she’s part of Social Grace. She’s able to see that she’s not alone in how she thinks and learns differently from many other kids she sees on a daily basis in school. Social Grace has helped her be proud of who she is and embrace her differences.
